QUINCY, Ill. – The Rockhurst Hawks defeated the Quincy University men's and women's tennis teams on Sunday (Mar. 31) at Reservoir Park. The men fell 5-2 and the women were downed 6-1. 

Men's 
Samuele Contestabile won a highly competitive match in the number 2 singles match. Contestabile defeated his opponent 7-6 (9-7), 3-6, 10-7. 

The only other victor in men's singles was veteran Collin Adams. Adams collected a 7-6, 6-3 win.

In doubles, the pairing of Patrick Anderson and Collin Adams earned a 6-4 win over their opponents from Rockhurst. 

Men's Record: 6-8

Women's
For the women, Abbey Moore was the only Hawk in the win column. The junior from Quincy defeated her opponent in three sets 6-3, 1-6, 10-8. 

Nicole Lao dropped a close match 6-4, 6-3 in singles action. Anna Konczak fell 6-2, 6-3 and Mikaela Hampton dropped in singles 6-3, 6-2.
