EVANSVILLE, IN. - The Quincy University women's volleyball team lost 19-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-23 on the road at Southern Indiana. 
Play by Play
From the opening set, both Quincy and Southern Indiana played point-for-point. Both teams were tied 6-6 early on. The Screaming Eagles creeped ahead 12-9, but QU rallied for four in a row to regain the lead 13-12. USI would go ahead 20-18 before scoring four straight and ultimately taking the first set. 
After falling behind 4-1 in the second set, Quincy went on a four point run to go up 5-4. USI would answer by scoring the next six points to bring the score to 10-5. The Hawks fell behind 18-11 at one point before scoring the next five of six points.
QU was able to cut USI's lead to 20-18, but the Screaming Eagles took a 2-0 lead with a 25-22 win. 
Quincy showed life in the third set. The Hawks quickly jumped ahead 5-1 and held their lead until the set was tied at 21-21. After USI tied the set Quincy scored the next four of five to get a 25-22 win. 
The Hawks let the fourth set slip away. QU had a 22-15 lead, but the Screaming Eagles roared back by scoring the next seven points to tie the score. 
Baylie Stephens scored the next point with a kill. USI scored the next three and won the game 3-1.
