Devin Ferguson's free throws gave UIndy a 75-74 lead before the Hawks went on a 6-0 run, getting a layup by Gronewold and consecutive buckets from senior forward Cha Cha Williams (Bolingbrook, Ill./Seton Hill) to give QU an 80-75 lead with 1:12 remaining.

The Hawks held the Greyhounds without a field goal for 4 ½ minutes of the overtime period. Gronewold's free throws with 22 seconds left pushed QU ahead 82-76 and Barnes iced the game with a couple freebies with seven seconds remaining.

The Hawks shot 69 percent (9-for-13) to take a 24-21 lead in the first quarter, but they trailed at halftime, 37-32, after going 3-for-11 (27 percent) in the second quarter.
