Abby Moser is in her second season (2018-19) as head coach of the QU women's volleyball team after spending the previous two seasons as the program's graduate assistant.
Last year, the Hawks won eight games in Moser's first season as head coach of the Hawks. Â
Moser helped the Hawks to 29 wins in two years as an assistant, including a 16-15 record and their first appearance in the GLVCÂ Tournament since 2011. QU also had two players named All-GLVC, middle Emily Lindemulder and libero Rachel Shores, and the team won the conference's James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award for volleyball.
The Wildwood, Mo. native spent four seasons as a libero at fellow GLVC school Truman State, helping the Bulldogs to the 2014 GLVC Tournament championship. She was the starting libero for 134 of the last 135 matches of her career and is the Bulldogs' all-time leader in digs (2,416) and digs per set (4.75). She was the 2014 GLVC Libero of the Year and was named to the All-Midwest Region squad. Moser was a four-time GLVC Defensive Player of the Week.Â

In addition to her successes with a nationally competitive collegiate program, Moser was previously part of two highly regarded pre-sports programs in the Rockwood Thunder VBC and Lafayette High School, where she also received recognition for her defensive play.
