What was the best part of your summer?
Right now I am at the Lake of the Ozarks wakeboarding and tubing.  Next week I am headed to Wyoming to go backpacking for the first time.  It has been hard to get workouts in at the lake, but I have to make time for it.  I just got done with one this morning.

How do you balance your time being a Nursing major and a women’s volleyball student-athlete?
Time management! I have stayed up late and studied on the bus.  It is about sacrificing social time to study and get my work done.  Nursing is my future and I must have my priorities straight.

What is your favorite place on Quincy University’s campus?
I like to go to the Chapel to reflect.  We have a beautiful Chapel on campus.  I also like the gym because I like to workout and that is where most of my memories from volleyball are. 

How have you changed from your freshman to senior year?
I think I have matured greatly!  The Nursing program is a very different world than regular college life.  When I walk into the hospital I have to be an adult and it has helped me grow into a more mature person.  I have learned how my actions can reflect on others.

What is your most memorable experience as a member of the women’s volleyball team?
It is all the little things and the little times together with my team that has had an impact on me.  Being out on the court with my teammates and connecting as a family; growing with my teammates through the good times and the tough times.
