Paul Kreke, 1973-75, was a two sport standout  for the Hawks in both baseball and men's basketball. Kreke finished his basketball career with 979 career points and 779 career rebounds and was named the Team MVP in 1975. Kreke was also a star on the pitching mound finished with 15 career wins and a 3.23 earned-run average with 171 strikeouts. His 75 strikeouts in the 1975 season are the 5th most in a single season. Kreke was drafted twice in the major league baseball amateur draft.
