The 2014 season will be Link's first with the Lady Hawks. She came to Quincy after playing the 2013 season with Afturelding Football Club in Iceland's top women's soccer league. She started every game for the club as the goalkeeper.
Link is involved in all aspects of the women's soccer program, including recruiting, academics, practice prep, goalkeeper training, travel and social media.
The St. Louis native was a four-year starter at Southwest Baptist University from 2009-12, winning All-Midwest Intercollegiate Athletic Association honors all four seasons. Link was the team captain in her final three years. She also played at the semiprofessional level in 2011 as a member of F.C. Tulsa Spirit in the Women's Premier Soccer League.
She trained the goalkeepers at the Missouri Rush youth soccer club, which features players ranging in age from 5-18.Â
